HTML link Tag

The <link> tag is used to create a link between HTML document and an external resource. The <link> tag is placed in <head> tag. It has three attributes. The first one rel attribute which specifies the relationship between the current and linked document. The second one is type attribute which specifies the internet media type of the linked document resources. The third attribute is href which define the link destination of the external which you want to link with HTML document. 

In the following example file relation is stylesheet and type of file is CSS and destination of the file or name is theme.css
